    Raspberry Sweet Rolls

I’ve been playing around with variations of my Better Than Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. I know, why fix it if it isn’t broken…but sometimes a girl wants something different. This last week I decided to try my hand at making a raspberry filling. This filling was full of flavor and a nice fall addition to the cinnamon roll family. Do you have an amazing cinnamon roll variation? I am toying with the idea of doing a Nutella sweet roll next. Do you have any suggestions? Hope y’all are having an amazing day.

    Autumn Fruit Salsa

One of my favorite past-times is visiting my grandparent’s strawberry farm/orchard in Oregon and helping eat pick strawberries, cherries, apricots and all things yummy and sweet. For a long, while I refused to eat strawberries that had been washed, I would only eat dirty strawberries right off the bush. Dad promptly sent them to me (used light bulbs and all), and I immediately decided they were long overdue for a rewiring. I am not entirely sure how long my grandparents had these lamps, but I do know they are older than me. The wiring and outlet plug also looks old as well. Another thing that bothered me was the 2 lamp harps didn’t match. I found new make-a-lamp kits at Home Depot, I know Lowes,…

    Potluck: Chicken and Dumpling Casserole

I LOVE soup…but…BUT, I cannot consume soup or anything resembling soups when the weather outside is above 75°F. There is just something wrong with my body being hot on the outside and then eating something that causes me to feel hot on the inside. Eating soup is like eating a warm, cozy hug. AND…because I currently reside in Las Vegas, I’ve had to get a little creative in my soup consumption. Thus, the casserole carousel rotation began. Chicken noodle casserole, loaded baked potato casserole, clam chowder casserole…the list is almost endless. Recently though, I was desperately craving chicken and dumplings. I knew I had to figure out how to recreate…
