Cupid Chow-Valentine’s Puppy Chow
If you’ve ever had puppy chow Chex mix, you know just how addicting it is to the taste buds. You can be eating it and the next thing you know, you’ve eaten the whole bowl. Chex has even begun manufacturing and selling their own types of puppy chow.
I knew it would be equally tasty and addicting if I did a spin on the puppy chow for Valentine’s Day. Now hear me out, you say you don’t like cherry flavors…well I am here to tell you that you will love this. I had numerous taste testers when I created this and ALL of them loved it! So…I know you will too. The best part is it only has 6 ingredients…and NO baking.
Cupid Chow
Ingredients
- 12 oz rice Chex cereal
- 1 lb white chocolate melts
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 cups cherry cake mix
- 10 oz plain m&ms
- Valentine's Sprinkles
Instructions
- In a large bowl, pour in the Chex cereal.
- In a separate bowl, add in the white chocolate. If you are using the bar chocolate, make sure you coursely chop it so it will melt quicker. Microwave in 30 second increments stirring inbetween each until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the Chex cereal and gently fold until all of the cereal is coated with the melted chocolate.
- Add in the powdered cake mix and fold the cereal more until competely covered with the cake mix.
- Now add in the m&ms and the sprinkles and gently stir until it is evenly distributed among the cereal. Serve immediatly or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
