Friday Faves

This week’s faves have been kind of minimal.  I started back at the gym this week, I’m hoping to be able to get back to my 9.15min mile by this summer.  We will see though.  I use to be a hardcore Mizuno running shoe gal, and those are amazing for trail running, but they are super heavy shoes.  I’ve found that unless I am training for a long distance race, I prefer lighter weight running shoes.  These Adidas Performance Women’s Edge Lux Running shoe has been amazing.  The sole padding is plenty and the stretch around the ankle is enough for security, but not too much where it cuts off circulation.  They weigh 8oz each.

Another pair of shoes I’ve been loving for spring/summer has been these Sam Edelman espadrilles.  They are like if Tom’s Shoes and Vans had a baby.  Super comfortable and stylish.  I’ve worn them with jeans, skirts, and shorts.  They are true to size, but won’t work for those who have wider feet.  They come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, I took them in the army green color.

This cuff earring has been fun to use as an accessory.  It looks very realistic; Mr. Man kept asking me if it was and I had to show him that it wasn’t.  I’ve purchased cuff earrings from various Etsy stores and all of them quickly bent out of shape and eventually broke, even though I was careful with them.  This earring is very sturdy and also beautiful.

I am a sucker for a cute cell phone case, and this avocado case from Casely did not disappoint.  I received a promo code when I signed up for their newsletter for BOGO free.  So I chose this avocado case and their reflective donut case.  Both are super cute and they shipped extremely fast.

The Puj Baby Tub has been my lifesaver this week.  I’ve had various other baby tubs for the other 3 amigos, but this one by far has been the easiest to use, store, clean and Goob has been loving it.  The Puj Tub is a foldable PVC free foam design.  The best part is you don’t have to fill the sink to use it.  You fill the bottom with water and because there are side vent openings you can run water during the whole bath and the water level doesn’t increase or get cold over time.
